Mikaela started learning to play cricket at the tender age of 5, it has been 12 years actively playing cricket state age for NSW and ACT in Australia, first grade cricket for the Northern District in sydney and at an international level for Canada. Mikaela is inspired by Ricky Ponting and Adam Gilchirist and has been fortunate to train with the current and past Australian players. Mikaela’s biggest achievement was ICC MVP for Canada in the last series against the USA, also winning the Americas in 2009 in Florida & to be the 2012 Vice Captain for team Canada. As an all rounder,  she likes to contribute by batting, bowling & fielding well. I expect the ICC Americas to be a hotly contested in the T20 format and is excited by Canada’s opportunity.
