Prairie Fire V Pacific Edge

This proved to be a tight match with Pacific Edge pulling off a 17 run victory on the back of executing 4 exciting run outs on the Fire batting line up. Having battled their way to 8-186 led by Jimmy Hansra (41) and  Yannick Ottley (29), the Edge gave themselves a target they could defend. Hiral Patel with 4-23 off 10 overs was the pick of the bowlers
 
In reply the Fire lost both Ruvindu Gunasekera and Hiral Patel early . Zeeshan Siddiqi then steadied the middle of the innings with a patient 46, but at the end of the day 4 run outs hurt them badly, 
 
Kjorn Ottley 2-26 off 8.2 only multiple wicket taker as the Fire was dismissed for 169 with 10 balls still remaining.

Central Shield  v Eastern Fury
 
Having won the toss and bowled the Fury appeared to have made the right decision as they reduced the Shield to 6-49 with a good team bowling display. However a century partnership between Junaid Siddiqui (77) and Harvir Baidwan (38) got the Shield back in the contest as they managed to reach exactly 200. Matthew Webb (2-22), Armaan Kapoor (2-17) and Inderpreet Singh Randhawa (2-28) each picked up 2 wickets.
 
In reply the Fury were all out in 50  over for 179. Ashish Bagai (40) and Trevin Bastiampillai (38) set angood platform to get the Fury to 2-83 but once both were dismissed the Fury struggled to challenge the target. Salman Nazar 3-36 Kenny Kamyuka  2--16 and Cecil Pervez 2-32 led the way for the Shield with the ball.
