Canadian Premiere Cricket League & T20 rights

Cricket Canada wishes to advise the general public and Cricket stake holders that it has nullified its agreement with Howzatt Productions Ltd, Vancouver for non-performance causes.

Cricket Canada in the very near future will issue a general public notice seeking proposals for a T20 Premiere League to help grow a strong Canadian cricket environment. Cricket Canada wishes to take advantage of its unique position on the globe and to serve the needs of a  vibrant and growing cricket community.

Cricket Canada seeks to work in cooperation with other regional members and stake holders to find a regional solution that will be in everyone’s interest and help grow a competitive cricket environment in North America.

Cricket is played in all 10 provinces in Canada and every province is a member of the Cricket Canada. Cricket is the fastest growing sport in Canada with over 97,000 youth having adopted the game in their schools as of December 2015

Cricket Canada is taking active and planned steps to improve upon the participation, quality of cricket being played at the domestic level, improve the performance of the national teams, governance, increase revenue as well as other resources.
